I would recommend this book to anyone looking for an easy read with meaningful themes. I also enjoyed the ending, which provides closure for every character. Smith portrayed Hadley’s struggle with accepting her father’s new life beautifully. While the story is unlikely to occur in real life, it had some elements that can relate to anyone.
