In the past wirecast wasn't too keen on 48 and ran better when the system was working at 44.1. I think our best bet is to try what you suggest on another computer where we can experiment and try to sort this out.Īnother thing I have noticed is that the sample rate 44.1 vs 48 can make a difference. I hear what you're saying and as you can imagine there is a slight sinking feeling at the thought of a complete reinstall of all the audio stuff which isn't practical for us right now. Please let us know a reliable setup where we can run pro tools or cubase on the same machine as wirecast and capture the audio output of the programme. We are using a MOTU 828 and a focusrite scarlet 212. So does either capture system audio or screen capture audio work? I can't even get it to work using the built in audio output let alone a third party sound card. We have tried downloading the screenflow audio driver as some people have suggested and that doesn't work either. Now while we in-house can work around this, we want some of our external tutors to be able to broadcast their desktop and we really need a simple solution so we need system audio capture to work. We have had it working using Loopback as well but never using system audio capture or screen capture audio inside wirecast. The only way we can get it to work is using a second sound card and outputting the computer audio out of one card and into another or running wirecast on a separate machine. Wirecast 8.0.0 both Pro and Studio - we have a copy of each.
